Site Readiness

PPE Safety Gear We understand the need for PPE such as certified boots, Hi-Viz vests, gloves, glasses, hearing protection, hard hats. We also recognized it should be the last means of defence, with planning/awareness, elimination, reduction of safety hazards coming first.	H2S Alive Attending technician will be H2SAlive trained and certified. (We do not own SCBA, or SABA breathing equipment) We can fit and wear site provided equipment if required. The odourless gas can virtually kill someone in under 60 seconds! We would like to stay alive, and complete the work you requested
GasAlert Microclip Please advise us prior to attending a site if we must bring and wear a Gas, O2 sensor for our safety. As remote well sites, mandate this beyond the front gate, or main administrative office . We would like to stay alive (literally) to complete the work you've requested.	2 Way Radio (UHF/VHF) We own a VHF vehicle radio for access to certain sites. Note: In order to be on your frequency; your company will need to issue an authorization letter to us, to get the specific frequencies needed, added to our radio by radio programming dealers.
Safe Work Permit We are familiar with having to file, and post a, Safe Work permit at locations where our work is to be done.	2 Way Radio (UHF/VHF) If we are required to have a portable IS (Intrinsically Safe) model please advise us as early as possible, as we would need to rent one, and have frequencies programmed on to it.
Vehicle Safety Strobe Beacon We have our own strobe beacon, if no escort vehicle is to be provided, we know that being seen is of utmost IMPORTANCE when on sites where oversized vehicles with tires that can crush a street size truck without even being noticed, is a real possibility. Usually beacons are enough for most sites, but if you require a whip antenna, let us know before heading to site.	Vehicle Safety Backup Alarm We understand site safety is critical and that no one needs to end up in the hospital. Our vehicle will be equipped with a open-air backup alarm with full volume db level approved on all sites.
OSSA Symbol OSSA (Oil Sands Safety Association) crest	Canadian Red Cross Certification in First Aid Level 3, CPR, and AED (Assisted Electric Defibrillator) Resuscitation use. We hope that no one needs this help, but we are trained for it.
AIP SafetyTrained Certain safety courses provided by AIP, have been taken by us, that are in compliance with OSSA requirements.	Fusion Safety Services Certain safety courses provided by Fusion, have been taken by us, that are in compliance with OSSA requirements.
Hertz Equipment Rental Certain safety courses provided by Hertz, have been taken by us, that are in compliance with OSSA requirements. This would include Elevated Work Platforms (such as JLG, Genie, scissor, boom, or articulated lifts). We are not afraid of heights, if there is confidence in the safe maintenance and operation of equipment. Please note we may refuse equipment if it does not pass our pre-use inspection.	Articulating / Boom / Scissor Lifts We have been certified for operation of said equipment for years, and perform our checklist prior to use, and can work at height. Ground Disturbance, and power lines MUST be planned for
Fall Protection Harness + D Rings We own and trust our Fall Arrest Body Harness equipment, belts, and lanyard. Kept clean and out of the elements in a bag when not used. Handy if you want a P2P transmitter changed, camera inspected or WiFi antenna reached.	Canadian Passport The technician you need to perform the requested work has a valid unrestricted Canadian Passport, and able to travel internationally, if requested, or required. Please advise us well in advance of any possible work you may want us to do outside of the country, as scheduling and preparation would be required.
Cenovus Energy Certs In preparation for providing services at client sites we will complete any online, pre-site visit, or onsite orientation or training in order to gain access and complete the work you have requested.	Devon Energy Certs In preparation for providing services at client sites we will complete any online, pre-site visit, or onsite orientation or training in order to gain access and complete the work you have requested.
WHMIS Attending technician will have completed and hold a WHIMS certification.	Safety Symbols Knowledge provides an additional layer of safety. Combined with WHIMS and TDG certifications we will know how to respond to visible signage when encountered.
